Start with project information
The quote form collects contact details and a project description. It does not accept document uploads. Do not paste confidential text, health information or identification numbers into it. A suitable transfer method is agreed separately before documents are provided.
Who may handle the files?
An agreed translation project may involve external translators or reviewers, as well as necessary hosting and email providers. We establish the project’s access and confidentiality arrangements before documents are shared; access should be limited to the material required for the task.
For reviewers, the language pair, relevant subject experience and document type are considered before a suitable review arrangement is confirmed. Read how expertise is matched.
AI: what is currently in place
TranslateFinder has not yet selected an AI translation provider. Sending a quote request does not automatically send your enquiry to an AI tool.
Before AI is used for personal information in customer documents, the provider’s confidentiality, processing terms, retention, training use and international transfers must be assessed. Information about the selected provider and agreed workflow will be supplied before processing begins.
Retention
Our standard policy is deletion of customer documents and translated files within 90 days of project completion, unless a different period is agreed or a specific legal obligation or claim requires longer retention. Customer processing instructions may govern this instead.
Discuss requirements before sharing
If your project requires a specific storage region, transfer method, processing agreement, restricted AI use or additional safeguards, tell us before providing files. We confirm what can be supported for that project.
