About TranslateFinder

Built around complex documentation.

TranslateFinder is a Danish startup focused on translation for engineering, medical devices and life sciences. Our aim is to help international organizations communicate technical and scientific information clearly, with attention to meaning, terminology and document structure.

A technical document needs to do more than read well. It must preserve how a product works, what an instruction requires and how information connects across tables, diagrams and references. That understanding shapes our approach to every enquiry.

Founder

Haisem Mawed

Electrical engineer · MSc, DTU, 2008

Haisem founded TranslateFinder with a background in RF and wireless technology, electronics and technical systems. His engineering education at the Technical University of Denmark provides a foundation for understanding products, specifications and complex documentation.

He also works professionally with language through Arabic, Danish and English interpreting. TranslateFinder draws on this combination of technical understanding and communication experience to ask informed questions and define the right approach for a document.

A technical foundation

  • Electronics, RF and wireless systems
  • Product specifications and system terminology
  • Technical instructions and documentation
  • Professional multilingual communication

What technical understanding adds.

Context before wording

We clarify the product, intended users and purpose of the document. This helps identify terminology and review requirements before translation begins.

Attention to document details

Component names, units, numbers, warnings, references and diagram labels can carry important meaning. The agreed review scope considers these alongside the text.

How we match reviewer expertise.

Before confirming a project, we assess the requested language pair, the document’s subject and intended use, relevant technical or scientific experience, and familiarity with the document type. IFU, engineering manuals and clinical content can require different expertise.

We discuss terminology references, approved glossaries and the review level you need. A suitable linguist and review arrangement must be confirmed before the work is accepted. Our founder’s engineering background supports project understanding; it does not replace specialist medical or scientific review.

A quality-oriented approach.

  1. Define the scope. Agree the language pair, document type, intended use, terminology references and delivery requirements.
  2. Match the review. Confirm relevant linguistic and subject expertise for the project. Engineering knowledge supports project understanding; specialist review remains important for medical and scientific content.
  3. Check the details. Human review and a separate quality check focus on meaning, consistency and completeness within the agreed scope.
  4. Prepare practical delivery. Assess source files, layout requirements and the final format so the translated material fits its intended use.

AI-assisted drafting can support efficiency where suitable. Human judgement, specialist terminology and the project’s confidentiality requirements guide how that support is used. Read more about our document handling and AI approach.

Three focused specializations.

A clear point of contact.

As TranslateFinder develops, we confirm each project’s language pair, subject expertise, review arrangements and realistic delivery date before accepting the work. You receive a defined scope and a clear point of contact.
